Allow Yourself to Daydream

What if you allowed yourself to daydream?  How would your life be different?  So often we are stuck in the day-t0-day tasks and all the things we feel we must do. When you think about all the things you must do, how do you feel?  I don’t know about you, but I feel HEAVY and exhausted before I even start.

When I think about giving myself permission to daydream, I feel lighter instantly. What are some of the things I would like to daydream about?  Maybe I will just close my eyes and try it; what are the possibilities?

Daydreaming allows your imagination to run wild without limitations. I believe the Angels want us to take some quiet time and let our thoughts run free. Ask yourself, “What would it be like if my true desires and wishes were answered?”   Play with that question in your mind. Notice the inspiration that pops up.   Allow your mind to reach endless possibilities, explore all your fantasies and visualize all your wishes coming true.

Spiritual guide, Abraham Hicks, says  it only takes 17 seconds to change the direction of your thoughts and to hold those thoughts for 68 seconds, one good thought for 17 seconds, to the next good thought for 17 seconds and so on. As your mind wanders in a feel-good thought space, your vibration rises.  When you are in a good feeling space, you are open to receive the inner guidance and hear the inspired thoughts of the Divine, of your Angels.

When you open your eyes, it is a good idea to write down all your inspired thoughts, no matter how far fetched they seem.  You have just touched into your angelic guidance, and if you feel compelled, take action from that inspired thought.  Your action, no matter how small, will lead you to your wishes fulfilled.

You do not need to know all the steps to reach your soul’s desire; just take that one small step. The first step is allowing yourself to daydream.  It does not have to take a lot of time.  Start with 1 minute, and then try 5 minutes and so on.  If you start your day with a bit of daydreaming, I bet you will have more energy and you will see your life very differently, and you will begin to live a life of inspired action.

Allow yourself to daydream today.  Share your wildest imaginings here if you dare!  How has daydreaming changed your life?
